What is the value of a 1991 cccp 3 klopek coin minted in leningrad?
i have a 1991 CPc coin. i believe it's 3 klopeks minted in leningrad from a small mark on the face of the coin. i believe the coin is also possibly copper. i'm just wondering if anyone knows the value or rarity of the coin? thank you.
It's not rare, and not very valuable, but it is of interest because that was the last year of Soviet-minted coinage. What makes the cost higher for those in the West is the expense of shipping them from Russia. There is a pair, one from each of the mints in Moscow and Leningrad (now St Petersburg, again), that did not sell on eBay for 99 cents plus $5 postage from Ukraine and a single coin that did not sell for one Pound (about $1.50) plus $5 postage from England. If you were to find a buyer locally, you might get as much as two dollars, but probably less.
